This is a long bicycle tour which meanders its way along the river between limestone mountains, forestall mountains and the Blue Danube River.
It follows the River Enns from Radstadt until it reaches the Blue Danube River....
 The River Enns has its source in Pongau in the Province of Salzburg. On its journey it passes through the Radstädter Tauern Region in Styria via Schladming and Liezen, on into the Upper Austrian Region of Pyhrn - Eisenwurzen to Enns, and finally flows into the Blue Danube River at Mauthausen.
1st stage: Radstadt-Gröbming, 40 kms:
The starting point is the small romantic town of Radstadt in Pongau. The path takes you along the River Enns, through alluvial forests and slightly falling terrain on to Mandling, Schladming, Aich and Pruggern before reaching Gröbming in about 4 hours. There are fine guesthouses along the way where you can stop for refreshments and a rest.
The Enns Cycle Path is the newest and still most unknown route amongst the grand bicycle tours which make their way along rivers, and is an absolute insider tip which is off the beaten track.
You cover a distance of between 240 and 280 kms depending on which route you choose to take and tackle a difference in altitude of more than 900 m between the starting point and finishing point of the Blue Danube Estuary.
